The 80’s

Patented design. There’s nothing else like them.
Works with any drum module so you can trigger any drum sound to come out of your speakers.
Ultra-responsive like drum pads from an electronic drum set but made for the acoustic guitar. They’re able to be played with any of your dynamic finger style techniques.
Perfectly isolated. Each pad creates an electrical field above them. Unless your hand enters that field first, the pads are dead silent. Other vibrations from the strings and the body won’t affect them!
Military grade playing surface and metal casing. Beat, slap, or smack them. They’ll keep up without loss of performance.
No Batteries. Receives power from the “Breakout Box” — a unique guitar splitter pedal — which fits on your pedal board and integrates with any 9V pedal power supply.
One cable to carry them all. The Ethercon cable carries your guitar and 80’s drum pad signals, as well as, power for the 80’s.
Custom signal routing. With the Breakout Box you have the ability to split your guitar and 80’s drum pad signals.
Two 80’s pads placeable anywhere around the soundhole.
Fits most acoustic guitars.

You'll Still Need a Drum Module

Our drum pads connect to a drum module which is what actually produces the drum sounds you hear when you strike the pads. Without a drum module, the pads are just... pads.

The Roland TM-1 or the Roland TM-2 drum modules are the go-to choice for drummers which is why we recommend them for The 80's.
